The Commonwealth of Virginia, To the Sheriff of the County of Alexandria, Greeting.

You are hereby commanded to summon Reed Cross, Bazil Williams Wm Sherwood and Mrs: Alexr Hunter to appear before the Honorable the Judge of the Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for the County of Alexandria, at the court house in the town of Alexandria, on the first day of next court which commences on the 28th Day of Monday in November next, to testify and the truth to say on behalf of Christiana Dunbar in a certain matter of controversy, still pending and undetermined, between said Dunbar and R B. Alexander and this they shall in no wise omit, under the penalty of $333 33: and have then there this writ.
