<p>We command you that the body of Thomas Morris in our prison in the County of Washington under your custody as it is said, detained under a safe and secure conduct, by whatsoever name the said Thomas Morris may be called, you have before the Honorable the United States' Judges of the Circuit Court for the District of Columbia, for the County of Alexandria, at the Court house in the said County, on Tuesday the 13th day of this present month at 10:oclock A. M, together with the cause of his caption and detention, to do, receive and submit to what shall then and there be considered conceiving him; and make return how you have executed this writ. Witness the Hon: William Cranch, Chief Judge of our said Court this 12th day of November 1832</p>
