We command you, That you take John Plummer and John Swann if they be found within the county of Alexandria, in your said District, and them safely keep, so that you have their bodies before the honorable the judges of the United States' Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, for the county of Alexandria, at the court house in the town of Alexandria, at the next court to answer Negro William "a pauper" of a plea of Trespass, Assault & Battery & false Imprisonment Damage Five hundred Dollars
