<p>We command you that you <del>take</del> summon Milly Richards, Wm H. Richards Berton Richards, Nancy Richards, Jane Osborn, Margt. Harrison &#38; Mildred Harrison <del>late of Washington County, if shall be found within the county of Washington in your said District, and safely keep, so that you have bod</del> before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia, to be held for the County aforesaid, at the City of Washington, on the 3d Monday of Jan'y next, to answer unto the petition for freedom of Ann Gordon.</p>

<p>Hereof fail not at your peril, and have you then and there this writ.</p>

<p>Witness, Jas. Dunlop Esquire, Chief Justice of our said Court, at the City of Washington, the 28th day of Octo. Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred 59.</p>     

<p>Issued the 29t day of Octo. 1859.</p>
