<p>The Petition of Sarah Stewart humbly sheweth That she is free and is held in bondage and claimed as a slave by James C. McGuire administrator with the will annexed of John P Todd late of the County aforesaid deceased, and she prays that her right to freedom may be fully enquired of by your Honors according to law.</p>
