You are hereby commanded to summon Jonathan Davis and James Kincaid late of Washington County, that all excuses set aside they be and appear before the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia for the County of Washington on the first Monday of June next next, to answer unto the Petition of negro Morris for his freedom filed in the said Court against them.
Hereof fail not at your peril, and have you then & there this writ.
