<p>You are hereby commanded, that, all excuses and delays set aside, you be and appear before the circuit court of the district of Columbia, to be held for the county of Washington, on the first Monday of June next, to answer the <del>bill of complaint</del> Petition for freedom of Negro Anne in the said court exhibited against you.<lb/>
Hereof you are not to fail, as you will answer the contrary at your peril.</p>
