<p>Sir</p>
                
<p>Please to take notice that on Friday the 20th day of May 1814 at the tavern of Joseph Rogers Northumberland Courthouse Virginia— We shall proceed to take the deposition of William Routt to be used as evidence in the case now depending in the Circuit Court of the United States. for the District of Columbia &amp; County of Washington in which Emanuel alias Emanuel Gasbury is petitioner for his freedom and the said Henry W. Ball is defendant.</p>
