When you need a food vacation go to
I had to take rooms at the Statler because I had friends there. I didn't regret it because I could have all my food in my own room—the hot things hot as blazes and ices cold and frosty. Our rooms were very quiet, though the lobbies are a howling mob. But not more than the St. Regis!!
I went there frequently of late, but seldom got a table. Normally I fled back to Sherry's where the waiters know me.
