Not much to be hoped for from me, I’m afraid! I have been in bed with Influenza for
two weeks, and it has ended in a stubborn bronchitis which refuses to quit me and
keeps hovering on the edge of pneumonia. I think that possibility is well over now,
but enough to of my normal breathing machinery is
shut off to keep me very weak, and I have to be very careful. I have friends here,
